What are Quizzes?
Quizzes are a new, time-limited feature on Ultimate Dialogue Adventure (UDA). Released periodically, around once a quarter, each quiz is a short set of questions built around a theme and focused on dialogue skill, and is only available to take during a defined date range.
Each quiz mixes different question types, such as completing a sentence, audio-based questions, or flashcards, and typically includes 3–5 questions.
Why we've added Quizzes?
Understanding a dialogue skill and applying it in the moment aren't always the same thing. Quizzes give you a quick way to test whether your skills hold up in practice — with real scenarios, not just recall — and get direct feedback on where you stand.
How to take a Quiz
- Find it on your dashboard. Quizzes appear at the bottom of the relevant topic's Module Learning section.
- Check you're eligible. Quizzes are only available to students with at least 100 XP.
- Complete it within the window. Each quiz has a set start and end date — once it closes, it won't be available again.
- Answer the questions. If you get a question wrong, the correct answer will be highlighted so you can learn from it. Some questions also include a Practice Tip to help you improve.
- Review your scorecard. After finishing, you'll see your percentage accuracy, number of correct answers, and number of incorrect answers — along with any Practice Tips for questions you missed.
Rewards
- XP: Every completed quiz earns you XP.
- 2× XP bonus: Get every question right on your first attempt, and you'll earn double XP — shown on your end card below your standard points.
- Badge: Completing a quiz unlocks a badge.
Good to know
- Quizzes are not available on demand — each one only runs during its set window, so keep an eye on your modules to avoid missing one.
- A new quiz is released roughly every quarter, each focused on a different dialogue theme.
